ABOUT DR. LAWRENCE

For nearly 25 years I’ve been starting, running, investing in and exiting different businesses as both a Founder and C-Level executive. I’ve lead startups as well as large teams across all functions of an organization.

Serial Entrepreneur
My companies have been sweat equity, self-funded, bootstrapped, loan funded and fully scaled/high growth venture capital backed businesses. This includes both technical and non-technical industries. Most recently I led a hyper-growth Big Data SaaS company and also founded a large EV car dealership with two new locations opening in 2023. I also continue to invest in and advise a variety of software, hardware, retail and service oriented companies.

Tenured Professor
Amongst all of that I am fortunate to continue my role as a tenured Associate Professor at Weber State University in the College of Engineering, Applied Science and Technology. I teach classes related to Sales Technology, AI, Entrepreneurship and Internet Marketing. I love my students!

Personal and Family
I have been married to my best friend for 22 years and we have two awesome daughters together. We live in Utah where I enjoy fitness, fly fishing and golf in my spare time.
